1940's MONKEY fur coat. Short, boxy shape, padded shoulders, wide sleeves. Black fur, black satin lining. Special trim detail is the Bakelite fur clasp at the neck. Black Bakelite pieces overlaid with a tooled and filigreed metal piece the same shape with a flower bouquet motif. Large filigree rings hook to close. Just exceptional- almost Art Deco style.
